Can leaders be managers, and managers be leaders?

Managers don’t need to be leaders. But leaders do need to be good managers.

Why do I think that? My latest video explores how the “game” changes when managers step up to become leaders. 

While leadership is big, long-term thinking, it’s also about short-term responsibilities. And I would confidently say that a leader who forgets those responsibilities is really going to struggle.

That balance is crucial.
